1. I hate putting milk in my coffee but I don't like drinking it black, so I always add just a splash of milk to add some color, rather than taste.
2. I go through phases where I drink apple juice around the clock and then suddenly switch to orange juice. If I'm on an apple juice kick, I won't drink OJ and vice versa.
3. I don't understand those "Run Less, Run Faster" programs. I like running.
4. It makes me tremendously happy that I'm starting my new job in January. I'm a big fan of starting things on the 1st - 1st day of the week, 1st day of the month, 1st week of the year. It makes me feel organized.
5. I ran 3 marathons this year.
6. I've lost count of how many times I've moved in the last 3 years. When I do find an apartment in DC, I plan on staying there for at least 2 years.
7. I signed up for the Eugene Marathon in August and didn't tell anyone. Now, I can't run it because I'll be on a business trip. I know more people running Eugene than not running Eugene and this makes me sad.
8. The drama over the NYC Marathon + running Richmond left me with a burn out feeling that I'm just now starting to get over.
9. I hate doing any kind of exercise when I'm on my period.
10. January was the only month this year that I didn't get on a plane. My goal for 2013 is to get on a plane at least once every month.

ReplyDeleteRE: #1, what about half and half? I always have both in my fridge because I drink a lot of milk and when I run out of half and half and have to use milk, my coffee is so blah.

I rotate between grape juice and orange juice. And wow-- I thought I traveled a lot this year! That's awesome though-- I'd love to go somewhere every month!
