Ola! I'm back from an unbelievable weekend in Lisbon and absolutely exhausted. It was totally worth it though because I can easily say that Lisbon is now one of my favorite cities in Europe and I will definitely be back!
I had grand plans of scheduling blog posts and keeping this little corner of the Internet updated while I was away but all of that changed when I realized that there was no way I was going to get on my Thursday night flight to Lisbon and ended up leaving for Europe a day early and spending a night in London. Oops!
I spent less than 24 hours in London and caught up with friends before flying out of Heathrow Friday morning to meet my mom in Lisbon. On Saturday, we went on a food tour (my new favorite thing to do anywhere) and on Sunday, The Pilot flew in to meet us!
It was an amazing and much needed vacation that I can't wait to share with all of you! For now, I'll just leave you with this:
