January was a great month. I felt like I had something to focus on for the first time in a long time. I mentioned that I never set any goals last year and I felt like I was just moving through the motions. The past few years had been so full of big, life-changing things - grad school, moving to DC, getting married, new jobs - that I wanted to just go with the flow, and I did, but I also felt like I was just moving through the motions all of last year.
One thing I'm really happy about is that, for the first time, I wrote a blog post every single day this month. It took a lot of planning, but I'm really happy that I did it, and I think it helped me to find my blog's voice again.
