Well, last week started off on a good note, and then I came down with a really bad cold and slept for 24 hours over the weekend and didn't move from my couch.
Thursday: 3.5 mile hill run. This was a tough run. I ran after work with two coworkers who both ran track in college. They've been inviting me to run with them and I've kept making excuses because I knew they would be faster than me, but fast friends make you faster. This run was tough. It was mostly a trail run and there were some serious hills and these girls had me winded in the first mile, but I kept up and felt awesome!
Friday: 45 minutes of yoga
Saturday: Rest/Sick
Monday: 1 hour, 15 minutes of yoga. Not only was this the first studio class I've taken in months, but it was also the longest class I've taken in ages and it was great! I used my ClassPass membership to go to a class nearby and really loved it!
Tuesday: Rest Day
Wednesday: 3 easy miles.

So, things happen and I got sick. I'm not beating myself up about it. I had a great week of training last week and a good start to this week and I know I'll be back on my feet again soon. I mentioned yesterday that I start marathon training this week and I'm prety excited about it! More detailsa bout why San Francisco and about the training plan coming soon! Stay tuned!
